Currently in Seattle — September 7, 2023: Sunshine and a perfect fall day

Plus, announcing Currently Sponsorships — a new way to reach our local audience.

The weather, currently.

September sunshine!

Thursday is going to be glorious, Seattle. It’ll be cool and in the high 50’s for morning commutes. But we’re looking at a full-on day of sunshine with a high of 70.

Shorts and sweater weather! Hot coffee and cool shades weather! Seriously, plan your walking meetings, after-school beach picnics, happy hours or hikes right now. (The weather at Snoqualmie Pass looks glorious, too).

We’re in a season on a cusp, and this sunshine is something to be savored. Stuck inside all day? You’ll get another chance to soak it in on Friday.

One of my favorite organizations, Mutual Aid Disaster Relief, serves as a hub of mutual aid efforts focused on climate action in emergencies — like Hurricane season. Find mutual aid network near you and join, or donate to support networks in Florida.
