Currently in Seattle — October 31, 2023: Perfect trick or treat weather

Plus, a frigid Halloween night nationwide.

The weather, currently.

Partly sunny Halloween

We’re looking at an ideal forecast for all your spooky adventures. The day will be partly sunny with a high near 56. This evening will stay warm, only dropping to a low of 43. We’ll have enough clouds in the sky to spin a spooky atmosphere.

So get out there and meet your neighbors in all our absurd, ghoulish, and glorious best. I’ll be the one in a Barbie costume with an adorable tiny trash truck. Oh yeah, and that’s just Ken.

Happy Halloween, Seattle. 🎃

What you need to know, currently.

Temperatures 10 to 25°F colder than normal will shroud most of the United States on Halloween, bringing a chill to any planned spooky festivities.

Freeze warnings stretch from southern California to Louisiana to eastern Pennsylvania, and some places like western North Dakota may even dip below zero Fahrenheit on Tuesday morning.

If you have a Halloween costume that’s winter-adaptable, I’d recommend it. Like maybe “Lavender Haze” Taylor instead of “Shake it Off” Taylor??
