Currently in Seattle — November 27, 2023: Glitterball Monday, with patchy morning fog

The weather, currently.

This unseasonable stretch of cold and clear weather will continue into Monday and the next few days, as a high-pressure system parks over the region. We’ll get a high of 47 and a low of 33. (It’s been ideal for watching the moon fatten up to full.) 

We will likely see a repeat of morning fog, especially in south Seattle. If you don’t have fog, you might see frost instead. Maybe wear your shades when you step outside, because when the sun rises at 7:31 a.m. the world should glitter spectacularly.

Everyone deserves to thrive. Everyone is worthy of a better world. That’s why we’re building a weather service for the climate emergency.

Currently’s new weather service is now live. In the weeks and months ahead, we’ll be continually adding more features and opening up more slots as we develop the service.

But for now, space is limited in the weather service because I want to make sure we can provide the highest quality service we possibly can while we work to refine the system with your input.
