Currently in Seattle — November 14, 2023: Clear skies & sunshine
Plus, last call for the Currently Weather Service pre-launch survey.
The weather, currently.
Sunshine & a climate-friendly Seattle
Grab your sunglasses on the way out the door, because Tuesday is looking clear and sunny. Things will be chilly in the morning, now that lows are dipping into the high 30s, but the day will warm up to 48 degrees in the afternoon.
After 10 p.m., a slight chance of rain returns, but (knocks all the wood) you shouldn’t need your rain jacket on Tuesday.
Oh! And if you would like a more pedestrian, bike, transit, and climate-friendly future, let the Seattle Transportation Plan team know what you think during Tuesday’s virtual office hours from 12-1 p.m.
What you need to know, currently.
In order for the new Currently Weather Service to live up to our hype, I want to ask for everyone’s pre-launch thoughts one last time.
This survey will be part of the baseline data we’ll use to build the weather service around the community’s needs and make sure it’s something people love to use. Completing the quick survey will also put you first in line to try out the new weather service yourself.
Could you take this two-minute survey right now to help us understand what your dream weather service might be like? Thank you so much to each of you who have already responded.
The launch version of the weather service dropping later this week is just the beginning. We want to continually improve this service in direct response to what people actually need and how people are using it. And, as you’ll quickly see, the suggestions folks have already made are fantastic. Keep ‘em comin’.
What you can do, currently.
