Currently in Seattle — June 4, 2024: Windy, wet and a little wild

The weather, currently.

Whew, some wild weather is kicking off our June.

The winds that pushed weekend rain out early Monday (and generally wreaked havoc on trees and power lines around town) will continue into Tuesday, gusting up to 30 mph. Temps will stay warm (high of 62) but there’s a solid chance of rain in the morning, tapering off into afternoon showers. We might even see some evening thunderstorms.

Raincoats will still be the order of the day, but we’re almost in the clear for a stretch of mellower sunshine. (So, if you enjoy splashing in puddles, be sure to catch your moment.)
