Currently in Seattle — June 13, 2024: Shorts and sweater weather continues

The weather, currently.

Thursday will be mostly sunny, with highs bumping up to 69 and some light breezes. Things will start to cloud up in the late afternoon and evening, with winds swinging from north to south after midnight. 

If you want to put your action hat on, the Washington Department of Ecology is updating the state’s Climate Resilience Strategy this summer. The agency just released a draft of that strategy and is seeking public comment on the plan. A few listening sessions are coming up, and you’ve got until July 11 to weigh in.
