Currently in Seattle — July 9, 2024: One more blazing day

The weather, currently.

We’re looking at one more day in the heat advisory zone. Tuesday’s high should top out around 93, but don’t despair. The evening low will still dip down to 63.

On the east slope of the Cascades, we’ve also got a red flag warning until late on Tuesday, which means heat and winds combine to magnify the potential for extreme fire behavior. Keep your fingers crossed/

Hang in there, Seattle. Things will start to cool off on Wednesday.
