Currently in Seattle — July 10, 2024: A few degrees cooler

The weather, currently.

On Wednesday, things are headed in the right direction — the high will top out at 88. The low will drop down to 60, which should feel like sweet relief for those sleeping without AC this week. 

Temps will start to cool off soon, but we’re looking at a long stretch of sunshine here in Seattle.

Around the state, hot and dry weather means this week’s fire outlook is not great. More fire bans are coming online, and it might be prudent to restock on high quality, well-fitting N95 masks just in case we’re headed for smoke season.
