Currently in Seattle — August 26, 2024: A lovely final week of August

The weather, currently.

After a weekend of stomping puddles and chasing sunshine, we’ll be rewarded with a lovely final week of August.

Monday kicks things off with partly sunny skies and a high near 74. There’s a solid chance we’ll have overnight rain after 11 p.m., so you don’t even need to worry about watering your garden.

We’ll have plenty of sunshine in September, but our season is shifting. If you have any warm-weather chores or adventures on your list, the coming week might be your window.
