Currently in Seattle — August 23, 2024: Rain, thunderstorms, sun on Sunday

This weekend will have it all.

Friday is a raincoat day, with an 80 percent chance we’re gonna get soggy. We might even get a thunderstorm in the early afternoon, and with it heavier rains.

The pattern repeats on Saturday, with some rain and windy conditions likely. Gusts may get as high as 21 mph, so wear your bike helmet and watch those falling branches. Yikes!

Sunday, my friends, the drier weather should appear both in town and in the mountains. After Saturday night showers, it should be partly sunny with a high near 70.
