Friday will repeat the pattern of the week, with morning clouds giving way to afternoon sunshine and a high of 72.

Things will get a little more dynamic this weekend, with a mix of showers and sunshine in the mix for both Saturday and Sunday. Highs will still top out around 72. It’s ideal weather for fall planting if you’ve got a garden. We might get a little thunderstorm on Saturday night, when a chance of showers bumps up to 80 percent.

Weather in the mountains is similar. If you’ve got plans in the Cascades that involve a tent, count on Saturday night showers and go ready for a mix of weather.
