Welcome to August, Seattle! (How is it August already?!)

On Thursday, you might wake up to a lighter marine layer. But don’t count on it staying cool for very long. Temperatures will climb early, reaching the mid-70’s by noon and peaking around 83.

It’s a sunglasses and shorts kind of day, so enjoy the sunshine. If you plan to walk or bike commute, the air might still feel a little sticky again today. Some light winds (5-10 mph) should help mitigate the heat and mugginess.
